As part of its efforts to engage the wider community, in particular, the youth and in a effort to develop a culture of respect for copyright, the arts and local music the Guardians of Music programme was started in January 2011 and continued throughout the year. It has benefited from the support of the Division of Culture, Ministry of Family, Culture and Sports and the Corporate Affairs and Intellectual Property Office (CAIPO).

The programme aims to provide information on career opportunities in all aspects of the creative sector and is executed directly in schools focusing on students between the ages of 11-16 years old.
